Award-winning, design and experience-led hostel group Generator, has won the award for Best Youth Accommodation Provider at the 2016 Global Youth travel Awards for the second year in a row.

Voted for by over 5,000 young travellers, the Best Youth Accommodation Provider award gives an opportunity for travellers to recognise and reward the provision of exceptional experiences.Generator disrupts the traditional hostel and hotel offering for young people, through a curated, design and experience led approach to shared accommodation. The ‘Best Youth Accommodation Provider’ award is testament to Generator’s commitment to offering an unrivalled experience; providing travellers with unique, stylish spaces to enjoy the best social atmosphere of a hostel, creating opportunities to immerse themselves in the local culture, socialise and share experiences in the most central locations and at affordable rates.

We are passionate about the customer experience, as we strive to offer the most exciting design and experience led hospitality with a strong connection to local culture.

With Amsterdam, Stockholm and Rome having opened this year, we are continuing our rapid expansion and look forward to opening our first US Generator in Miami South Beach next year, with an exciting new property in Madrid to follow – continuing to spread #Genlove across Europe and beyond.”
