Furniture Makers' Ball at Mitton Hall selling out fast!

The glittering Christmas Ball being held in aid of The Furniture Makers’ Company, the furnishing industry’s charity, is selling out fast.

The not-to-be-missed black tie event, being held on Thursday 1 December in the magnificent setting of Mitton Hall near Clitheroe in Lancashire, is already being supported by a number of high profile companies from across the furniture and furnishings sector.

Silentnight, the Nathan Furniture Group, Belfield Furnishings, Panaz, Carpenter and a table of senior members of The Furniture Makers are among those to have already booked.

Set in the stunning surrounds of the 15th century Manor House in the heart of Ribble Valley, the glamorous fundraiser is set to be a highlight of the festive season. A drinks reception will be followed by a three course meal, dancing to a live band and ‘champagne games’.

Said Jan Turner, chair of the Furniture Makers’ North West fundraising committee, which is organising the event: “The ball is open to anyone and everyone involved in the furnishings industry – ticket sales are going well and we’re delighted with the number of high profile companies and individuals joining us.

“Holding this particular Christmas function in the North is part of the Furniture Makers’ policy to make its events more easily accessible to people and companies across the country. So although this is being organised by a regional committee, it’s very much a national event.

“As well as being a fun night where everyone can get dressed up to the nines and raise some money, it will be a good networking opportunity too.

“Whether people want to come along on an individual basis or perhaps use it as an opportunity to do some corporate hospitality, Mitton will be the place to be to get the festive season off to a great start!”

Tickets for the Christmas Ball cost £60 each or £600 for a table of 10. A £20 deposit per head is required on booking. For more information call Northern organiser Louise Hicks on 07442 012216 or email [email protected]
