Beatles-themed boutique in Liverpool on sale for £11m

The Beatles-themed boutique hotel in Liverpool has gone up for sale with an asking price of £11m. Hard Days Night Hotel in North John Street is located within a Grade-II listed building that dates back to 1884, and opened its doors during the city’s Capital of Culture year in 2008 proving a popular choice for fans of the Fab Four ever since.

The 110-bedroom boutique hotel is owned and operated by Liverpool-based property firm, Concord Estates, run by Merseyside property entrepreneur, Tony Criss who has now tasked consultancy CBRE with finding a buyer for the luxury themed hotel.

Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, CBRE director, Shaun Skidmore, said: “In bringing the Hard Days Night Hotel to market, we are offering a unique opportunity to acquire not only a culturally significant property but a hugely successful, luxury hotel with an international client base in the best location within one of the UK’s most popular cities. “This landmark building plays a key role in sustaining the city’s burgeoning reputation as a major tourist destination within the UK. We are incredibly excited to start entering into discussions with interested parties.”

The only Beatles-inspired hotel in the world, Hard Days Night is named after the hit Beatles track, A Hard Day’s Night and features a range of exclusive artwork inspired by artists inspired by the Fab Four. In addition to the hotel’s 110 bedrooms, including McCartney and Lennon suites, the hotel houses several bars and restaurants, which are ultilised for conferences, events and weddings.
