New Smartfil is light and airy and offers thermal performance and air flow

The Fine Bedding Company Hotels Division, a brand from British-owned manufacturer Trendsetter Ltd, has created the Smartfil range, a collection of luxury duvets and pillows which offer guests a great night’s sleep whilst significantly reducing laundry costs.

Drawing on 100 years of industry experience, The Fine Bedding Company’s newest range contains Smartfil, a special, non allergenic, multi layered fibre filling. The tiny fibres are coated with a permanent silicone glaze to create duvets and pillows that shape to the contours of the body.

Smartfil Air duvets are especially constructed to offer thermal performance and air flow, keeping guests warm and comfortable as they sleep, but also wicking away any humidity. “The special coating allows the tiny fibres to slide freely around one another to shape gently around you and this gives Smartfil Air duvets wonderful drape,” explained Kevin Swart, contract sales manager, The Fine Bedding Company.

 Because Smartfil is so light, it makes room turnover easier for busy housekeepers. The Smartfil range is also highly compressible which means the duvets and pillows are hygienic because they can be washed and dried in house; duvets and pillows can be washed at 60 degrees which is the temperature at which dust mites are destroyed. Using Smartfil can therefore help cut laundry bills and help optimise the cleaning budget per room.
