The Lincoln Hotel, which is a glamorous 1960s retro hotel, located in the very heart of uphill Lincoln has been recently restored. The Yorkshire based family firm, TLJ Security Systems installed the hotel’s 71 bedrooms with new doors, which conform to fire safety standards.
The doors were pre finished and pre drilled prior to delivery ensuring the hotel was able to remain open with little disruption to the guests. The doors were painted to a custom paint code chosen by the hotel and were fitted with the TLJ Identity Locks, door closers, spy viewers and kick plates which provide a high level of finesse to be in keeping with the sophisticated design of this boutique hotel.
The security system project, completed in June 2014, was commissioned by the Hotel’s project Manager Andrea Green, who commented;
“After much research I found TLJ as they were fairly local and seemed to be able to meet the requirements of the project. When we met Luke it was clear that the system he offered fitted the needs of our business, at a reasonable price. He was able to offer the latest technology and explain it in a straight forward way. The major factor was his flexibility, as we wanted to replace all of the doors. He also facilitated the purchase and pre-painting of this aspect, which no other supplier could offer. The final job is excellent, we are delighted with the finished product and have had very few issues, it was a very good outcome.”
TLJ Security Systems have a range of key card locks that have been specifically designed in conjunction with the hotel and accommodation industry.
